♠ Existentialism ♣
What is Existentialism?
Existentialism starts with Kierkegaard despite the fact that we can apply the term existentialist to many a great thinker and writer such as Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Kafka, Heidegger should stop Herman Hesse. Basic belief for all of them philosophical think in an existing begins with each thinking subject namely the individual. However, there are at least two other equally important parts which will constitute existentialism passions and freedom. This idea I like that triangle with individuality, freedom and passions as it's three sides. And also philosophers like Camus will, of course, argue against this and say by believing in god. There are many things recognized the absurd and fully embrace it and attracted to a subject like suicide, anguish, absurdity, passions, emotions, their freedom or even despair.
The Myth of Sisyphus: The Absurd Reasoning
An absurd reasoning Camus starts with this essay by bringing our attention to an intriguing. He focusing on the matter of suicide. Our life is filled with despair and absurdity and we can see that something deprived of all meaningless. Here also considered about the movie 'Stay' and another phrase from the movie "an elegant suicide is the ultimate work of art." An end of the video Camus answer to the absurdity of life isn't suicide.
The Myth of Sisyphus: the notion of philosophical suicide
The feeling of absurd is not for all that the notion of the absurd it lays the foundations for it so what is absurd and how does it. The absurd is neither is a man not in the world it can only occur in their presence together at least you could say the 🌎 world is irrational and you need a human being for this irrationality.
A total absence of hope - Despair
A continual rejection - Renunciation
Conscious dissatisfaction - Immature unrest
Here recognized the stuff philosophy "Reason is useless and there is nothing beyond reason"
Here you can see how Camus attitude toward the absurd differs fiercely from someone like Kierkegaard for an existentialist like Kierkegaard faith is the solution to the absurd.
Absurd + faith = escapism
Faith is the objective uncertainly with the repulsion of the absurd. Camus also criticizes Lutheran's philosophy for taking an abstract leap an absurd man reasoning should remain faithful to the evidence is the absurd taking the leap and there is nothing dangerous and challenging.
Dadaism, Nihilism and Existentialism
It was in 1916 that the Dada movement rose up against world war one for most people the other ISM associated with nihilism. Existentialism emerged after world war 2 as a movement another series of doctrines as an answer to the absurdity of life.
Bizzaro writes "they are absurd doesn't fright me, because, from a more elevated point of view, I consider everything in life to be absurd."
Existentialism - a gloomy philosophy
Existentialism is often accused of being a gloomy philosophy while there is the truth to this claim we must look at the whole picture why existentialism thought of as a gloomy philosophy because of notions as anxiety, despair and absurdity.
Life + Anxiety = believing in God or finding a truth that is, and true for you or even embracing the absurd but most importantly it is you should judge away every value and choose own meaning in life and once you've done that you should take responsibilities for the choice you've made and accept the consequences of it.
